Terms of Service
These terms are maintained by the HeartNest team and apply when you use the app to create, share, or open a digital gift. By using HeartNest you agree to what follows.
Using HeartNest
HeartNest lets you assemble a personal gift — a message, photos, video, voice, music, and effects — and share it through a link. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, and you agree to use it for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose.
Your content
You keep ownership of the words, images, audio, and video you upload. You grant HeartNest a limited license to store, process, and display that content so we can operate the service — for example, saving your gift, generating shareable links, and rendering the gift when a recipient opens it.
You are responsible for the content you send. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not use HeartNest to send content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes another person's rights.
Gift links & passcodes
Anyone with a gift link can open the gift. If you want an extra layer of privacy, set a passcode when you create it and share the passcode through a different channel than the link. HeartNest cannot recover a forgotten passcode because it is only stored as a one-way hash.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not scrape gift content or attempt to enumerate gift codes.
- Do not use HeartNest to send spam, malware, or phishing links.
- Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
We may remove content or suspend access if we believe these terms are being broken.
Availability
HeartNest is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that gifts will remain available indefinitely.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeartNest and its makers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You can stop using HeartNest at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service, or to a specific gift, if these terms are broken or if we need to protect the service or other users.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of HeartNest after an update means you accept the revised terms.
